Crafts From the Past....

I was thinking that maybe today I would show you some of the crafts that we have done in some of my past classes.
I really want to show you what I have planned for Tuesday, but since my students don't know yet what they will be making, I can't show you.

Okay, this is one of the projects from a couple years ago...

This is a fall door topper made from felt and a few fall leaves.
I stuffed my pumpkins a bit to give them a little dimension.

We also did a winter one...

This next one is something we did last year....

Prim pumpkins!
I think they were a favorite of quite a few of the ladies. I know they were one of mine.

I love making chalkboards! I can't remember exactly what the measurements of this was, but it was good sized. The bottom has square nails for hanging keys or what have you.

And.....

A cute little sheep clock. I don't usually keep any of the crafts I make. They usually end up as gifts for birthdays or Christmas, but for whatever reason I did keep this little clock.

Finally....

....As I am so thankful for all of my wonderful friends and followers out there!

Blessings,
Julie

  1. Gee, Julie, is there anything you can not do?? All these crafts are very neat. I really like the door window valances. We have a dutch door in the kitchen and we always leave the top of the door open to the enlcosed porch . A cute little valance like yours would be perfect. The girls must look so forwrd to the class. I was getting mixed up.....now I realize you have the Keepers and the Adult Ed class. I think I have it straight now.We are suppose to get heavy winds and much rain here later this evening and tonight. We will see what happens. Hope you are all safe and not in the path of the storm. I don't think you are but I'll bet you get some wind and rain.Have a fun filled afternoon!

    1. LOL! Oh I do enjoy crafting Susannah. Something I have been doing since I was very young. I think I was only 8 when I received my first sewing machine.
The valances were an idea I got from a friend of mine who hangs an actual curtain valance in her doorway. I just thought I would make my own that would help celebrate the seasons.
Yes, I do have two different classes going. I love teaching.
How did the storm treat you last night? I hope you and your loved ones are all safe. We are just getting high winds and rain up here. Nothing too drastic.
      Have a great week!

The Potager Garden

Good morning folks! It's another cool rainy day, here in Northern Maine. Our long winter has turned into a long, cold spring. Let's...
