Last night was our November keepers meeting. We had so much fun, but because of the nasty weather not everyone was able to come. It is getting to be that time of year, isn't it?
Just for you, I took some pictures of our evening.....
Such concentration!
We had a drawing for a couple dvd's.....
...and Sheila won! This was a good thing! LOL!
The other dvd went to Luann, but she graciously re-gifted it
to Denise....Also a good thing! (wink)
Congratulations ladies!
We missed all of you who were absent, but as always it was a great evening!

PS..
Your parcel will leave on Monday.. I wanted to add something else.. xo
Thank you, Faye! I can't wait! Do you still have some snow your way? We woke up to an inch or so this morning, but the most of it is gone now. The older I get the less I like winter and all the ice it brings.
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
Julie

Julie, how I love rag rugs!!!!! Do you crochet them? I started one years ago and one day many years ago my teenage daughter helped me clean the basement. I told her I think she threw that and a few other nice things out!!!!!! That was when she only liked modern things...and she would never have a prim, colonial, early America house like Mom and Dad. Now that she is 40, she has many antiques and loves them. But back to the rugs. They are so pretty. I have picked some up at estate sales before and washed them on gentle. I don't know if you can these though. What a great group you have. Now, you have a fun weekend. Oh, and I did not know you hurt your hand and wrist. I read it on Faye's blog. I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteWe do crochet the rugs. I just love them. I don't like the joining the strips part, but I love crocheting it together. It goes together fast. Funny, isn't it, how our kids taste change so over time. They usually end up liking what they grew up with.
DeleteMy wrist is much better, thank you. At one point my left wrist was in a brace, while my husband's right arm was in a sling. What a couple, huh? Both of us are on the mend now.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Many Blessings,
Julie
