Tonight we made a family of snowmen out of 2 x 4's. Aren't they cute?
Their little hats are made from the sleeves of old sweaters, and their scarves are just scraps of fabric. I added some twigs for arms to finish them off.
Everyone did an amazing job making their own snowman families, but the best part of the night was that I actually remembered my camera!

Hi Julie...I think you have "snowman Heaven" going on at your house. I love these...but I loved the pillow, too. These are sweet with the sweater hats. They look like they would be fun to make, too. Oh, I wish I lived closer. I would love your class. Well, you keep on coming up with all of these wonderful ideas. Very interesting. How have you been lately? ReplyDeleteI wish we lived closer too! I've been busy with home stuff. I love being a keeper of my home. Tonight is our keepers meeting. We are finishing our rag rugs, so I will post that in the next couple days. Hope all is well with you. Are you getting any snow? We woke up to a couple inches this morning. I'm just not ready for snow, yet! LOL!

No snow yet here, Julie, but they have had snow around us in the hills and mountains around here. Our fall was not very nice. Seems like it rained every weekend so we could not go to our daught and son-in-law's cottage at all. We are putting in a new kitchen...long story.....but I want it done pretty soon....before I go bonkers!!!!!LOLOLOL Have fun tonight,
DeleteWell our snow melted off by late afternoon, but this morning it's back. Go figure! We have had a lot of rain, also. I have to say, though, I'll take the rain over the snow and ice.

The snowmen are so cute. I'm bummed I didn't make it but life takes us in many different directions, have fun at the Keepers meeting tomorrow night and don't forget to take some pictures for us.
