Some Yummy Dishes.....

I've been noticing that people pin a lot of recipes on Pinterest, but do they ever try them?
Well, I decided I would like to actually try a few and see if they are worthy of being pinned.

This is what we had tonight.
Philly Steak & Cheese Stew
in a bread bowl.

Let me just say that I would DEFINITELY make this again!!
It was a hit!
So delicious!

And last night I made.....
Stuffed Chicken Marsala

This is an Olive Garden recipe.
DELICIOUS!
My husband liked this one the best. He actually brought some of the leftovers to work with him, so that he could share with his
co-workers.
They loved it, too!

I have a couple more Pinterest recipes on the menu for Thursday and Friday, so I'll try and remember to take pictures.

Have you tried any of your pinned recipes?? I'd love to hear what you have tried and how you liked it.

I have a few dessert recipes pinned, as well, but haven't tried any yet. Maybe this weekend I'll make some Pumpkin Whoopie pies with Maple Spice Filling. Sounds delicious, doesn't it?

Blessings,
Julie

  1. Hi Julie.....I have to stay home and get to doing some of the things... like your recipes here. We just got back from visiting my sister, brother-in-law and my nieces and their families in South Carolina. Seems like I can not get back on track. Hope you are doing well. I know you are enjoying that brand new house!!!!!!!

    1. Oh lucky you! You got to see green grass!! I miss the grass! It certainly has been a LONG winter. We still have a couple feet of snow here, and more in some areas. We are all doing well, though. I'm looking forward to gardening and working outside. I've gained too much weight this winter, I need to work it all off!
Joe and I are really enjoying the house. It's so cozy down here along the woods. We've seen a few animals out along the woods...fox, moose. So neat to see up close.

Glad you are doing well. Wish we lived close enough to have tea!

  3. Hi Faye! Thank you! The sad fact is that my husband and I both love food a bit too much!
Yes, spring is on it's way, and can hear it each morning as the birds have their early morning conversations and dance from tree to tree. I love the sounds of spring!

    Blessings to you dear friend,
    Julie

  4. Hi! This is unrelated to your delicous food post, but I came across your site when looking for an "antique red paint color". Your beautiful house came up on my search. I love primitives and am getting ready to paint my cape. I LOVE the red color you chose. By any chance, could you share the color with me? thanks! Lisa

  5. Thank you, and yes! The color is Hampton Red. I can't remember who makes it though. Sorry!
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope to see you again!

    Blessings,

The Potager Garden

Good morning folks! It's another cool rainy day, here in Northern Maine. Our long winter has turned into a long, cold spring. Let's...
